    Financial advisors are inept likely due to the failure of appropriate and ongoing training. Ask any one of their advisors if they have a mortgage license to deal mortgages or if they have any certifications at all dealing in and around financing and you'll see they are unprepared to work with people's money. For lack of a better term, they are not much above trained monkeys that input information into a computer to see the result; unfortunately, without the wisdom to solve problems. Having dealt with 4 different advisors at this branch over a two year period, I have tremendous concerns about our banking system and implore Scotiabank to perform due diligence on their own staff. NOTE TO SCOTIABANK: You are responsible for citizens of this country. You have our money. You use it for your own gain. Spend some of the profits you make off of our sweat and provide ongoing training to your employees that includes higher learning and certification so they can be prepared to help rather than forcing them to "sink or swim". It's embarrassing for them and dangerous for us and our future.

    Have been banking here for over 5 years and the the staff has always been professional and courteous. Safra, Rosa and Susan are three of the most exceptional staff members at this location and have always provided great advice and help when possible. Sometimes the bank makes mistakes and there policies are always changing - drives me nuts. This makes banking matters difficult, but the staff here has made it manageable in resolving these issues and correcting or compensating for them. I have had the worst experiences with Royal bank and TD so banking here has been great overall.

    Afterhours the ATM is sometimes out of deposit envelopes. Not sure if someone goes in and takes them all, or if they forget to restock them.

    Was not busy when we arrived. It took over 25 minutes to issue a draft, deposit two cheques and a small amount of cash. Was not pleased as the teller seemed lost and did not ask for help either. Will try another location next time and hope for quicker service.

    Poor customer service. I asked for a financial but none was available. Reception said all r n a meeting I asked for another time appointment I was told to call the call centre to book one Not only that but I also Paid my cra tax bill but the receptionist didn't do it properly I got charged late payment coz she put it under current year instead of that tax year

    Service in the branch is good, however they have a phone number listed online that goes to some robot system that is very slow, when you finally get to speak to someone for a simple request, they're at a call center and can't help with much at the branch other than scheduling appointments based on an availability sheet that they see. If they schedule you an appointment based on their availability sheet, you will probably get a second call from the branch saying the advisor isn't actually available and reschedule you.
